What It Is

Implant-Secured Stability with Removable Convenience

The SureFit Smile is Foundation's precision implant-retained overdenture — a full-arch removable denture engineered to snap onto 2–4 titanium implants using high-precision locator attachments. When seated, it behaves like a fixed prosthetic. When you choose to remove it for cleaning, it releases with a simple pull.

Unlike conventional dentures that rely on suction and adhesive, the SureFit Smile uses your implants as its anchor. This means no embarrassing movement during meals, no pastes, and no uncertainty. The implants also stimulate your jawbone, slowing the bone loss that causes traditional dentures to loosen and fit change over time.

  • Snaps onto 2–4 titanium locator implants for a locked-in feel
  • Removable for cleaning — no special tools required
  • Slows jawbone resorption at implant sites
  • More stable than any conventional denture
  • Pathway to full fixed arch available if desired later

Is This Right for You?

Who Is a Good Candidate for the SureFit Smile?

The SureFit Smile is ideal for patients who want implant-secured stability but prefer — or require — the flexibility of a removable prosthetic.

You're likely a good candidate if you…
  • Currently wear full dentures and are unhappy with stability
  • Want implant security without the cost of a full fixed arch
  • Prefer removable for ease of nighttime cleaning
  • Have adequate bone for 2–4 implant sites
  • Want to preserve jawbone and facial structure long-term
We may still be able to help if you have…
  • Moderate bone loss — mini implants may be an option
  • Worn dentures for many years and experienced ridge changes
  • Health conditions that limit surgical options
  • A SureFit-compatible existing denture that can be retrofitted

The Process

How the SureFit Smile Is Placed

01
Evaluation & 3D Imaging

A cone beam CT scan maps your bone volume and ridge anatomy. Dr. Pasicznyk identifies the optimal implant sites and determines if your existing denture can be adapted or if a new one is needed.

02
Implant Placement

2–4 titanium locator implants are placed under local anesthesia in a single surgical appointment. Healing caps are placed while the implants integrate with your jawbone.

03
Healing Period

Over 2–4 months, the implants fuse with the bone through osseointegration. You continue wearing a modified version of your existing denture during this time.

04
Attachment & Delivery

Locator abutments are placed on the implants, and your denture is fitted with the corresponding female housings. You feel the difference the first time you snap it in.

Why Choose SureFit Smile

Implant Security. Removable Convenience.

Book a Consultation
No More Slipping or Adhesives

The locator system physically locks your denture to your implants. Eating, laughing, and speaking with confidence isn't a goal — it's just your daily reality. No pastes, no worry, no adjusting mid-meal.

Simple, Familiar Cleaning Routine

Remove your SureFit Smile each night, brush it as usual, and soak. Clean around the abutments with a soft brush. A routine that takes minutes, with no specialized equipment.

Protects Your Investment in Bone

Each implant anchor stimulates the jawbone at that site — slowing the resorption that causes conventional dentures to loosen over time and that leads to the collapsed facial appearance of long-term denture wear.

Common Questions

SureFit Smile FAQs

The SureFit Smile is Foundation's specific implant-secured overdenture protocol — it includes a premium denture prosthetic, precision locator placement, and a more detailed fitting process than a basic snap-in. The result is a tighter, more consistent connection and a better-fitting denture.

The lower arch typically requires 2 implants; the upper arch typically requires 4, as upper bone density is lower and more anchors are needed for stability. Dr. Pasicznyk determines the right number based on your bone anatomy and bite forces.

The nylon inserts in the denture do wear over time — typically needing replacement every 12–18 months. This is a simple in-office procedure that takes about 30 minutes and is inexpensive compared to the stability you gain. The titanium implants and metal abutments do not wear out.

Often yes — if we plan implant positions with a future fixed arch in mind, the transition may require adding implants and fabricating a new prosthetic, but your original implants can often be incorporated. Discuss this goal at your initial consultation so Dr. Pasicznyk designs your treatment with that pathway in mind.
